Fasting from Facebook. It's something I've done once before, just about a year ago, for a period of a few months. I'm not sure how long I'm planning on doing it for, but for now I'm pretty dead set on keeping it out of my routine. Before you delete or "disable" Facebook, they have you go through a series of blocks, in attempt to convince you otherwise. Fortunately, I wasn't fooled: I've been through this before. I feel like it was beginning to get a little bit ridiculous- I began wasting time looking at pictures- of old friends, new friends, any really, and spending way too long in it. So, I cut ties. If you try to find me on Facebook & can't, it's not because I unfriended you, don't fret, it's that I wanted another few hours a week back to productivity & real relationships, rather than virtual ones :) You can find me at the local coffee shop, library, or enriching my brain at home through good reads. So, in conclusion, goodbye facebook, or, should I say, "see you later"?
